Lady Prospector: Caroline Maben Flower

A mysterious, musical, and audacious Mrs. Caroline Maben Flower, what the Porcupine Advance called a “Lady Prospector”, while the New York Times called a “Woman Thief”. Much still remains to be known about Mrs. Flower but what does seem to be true by her photograph and letters, is that she chose to live an interesting and daring life – some of it in northern Ontario.
