Lady Lumberjack: Dorothea Mitchell

Dorothea Mitchell, known better as “Lady Lumberjack” owned a sawmill, led a team of 30 men, yet did not shy away from the grunt work. She carried on by snowshoes, was loved by her community and aside from that, fought for the ownership of property in a country that did not give such rights to unmarried women.
